Relais Villa d'Amelia

A beautiful hotel located on the cliff side overlooking Alba. The hotel have two electric chargers, one 11kw for Tesla, and one 2.7kw for non Tesla. The traditional restaurant is very good and every meal we had was an experience. The breakfast is served on the same terrace and the view is just stunning! The rooms felt spacious and clean.

Relais Villa D'Amelia was such a pleasant surprise and a great way to end our trip through Italy. The manager (I think) that helped check us in on Monday, 7/31 was extremely kind and helpful towards us. She shared her recommendations of wineries around that we should visit, offered to call and make reservations for the ones we chose to visit as well as restaurants. Our room wasn't ready yet as we had arrived early, but she managed to get it to us earlier than the check-in time and also gave a tour of the grounds. The courtyard is beautiful and peaceful, a great place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. The pool is very beautiful and the view is breathtaking... the endless hills of wineries is picturesque. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel -- the service was great and the food was delicious. Breakfast is included and is a la carte. Definitely going to come back to visit for a weekend getaway.

No value for money. The only nice thing is the pool. The house has no soul. Lot of functional extensions to a once beautiful building. Even in October you freeze in the breakfast room - which, by the way, has the charming atmosphere of a station hall and is cold. Breakfast is a complete joke. Not even a buffet. Only white bread - no choice. And the bread is not even fresh. Comment from the hotel manager: "You can not expect us to buy bread every day." Ingredients mediocre at best. Even an airport hotel has better breakfast. They only offer one sort of cheese - no salami at all. Brought my own cheese and salami the next day, but would not get a plate to eat from. Incredibel. Restaurant manager does not care about customers. He smiles into your face and tells you that he has to smile to customers but does not care about what you say. Internet in our room was extremely slow (1 Mbps). Dirty plates and cutlery were not removed from the room - you have to do it yourself.

Villa D'Amelia is a wonderful hotel located in Benevello, about 15 minutes from Alba. The hotel offers a wonderful own super restaurant see photos with a hammer view over the vineyards of Piemonte, a pool with bar, a spa area and much more. The staff is very friendly. Already 4 years ago I was a guest in this hotel. What I find a bit unfortunate is that the morning meal is now a la carte and not as before. The quality of the food is absolutely excellent. We will gladly come again, we felt very comfortable.

This hotel was wonderful! The staff was great and the grounds, accommodations, and views were top of the line (including the food). It was our first time in Italy and this was our first hotel and I must say, my wife and I were impressed. It was extremely warm (unusually warm I believe) weather and so our room wouldn’t get as cool as we would have liked however that was literally the only negative thing about this location. And they can’t control the weather so I don’t blame them. We would absolutely stay here again. In order to get the wonderful views be prepared to travel a little to get to anywhere else you’d like to go (wineries) but the hotel is worth it.

Incredible two nights spent at this perfectly located boutique hotel. The grounds are breathtaking and well-maintained - a slice of heaven. I could sit out by the pool overlooking the rolling hills and vineyards of Piedmont and never tire. A truly relaxing and luxurious escape. The staff are welcoming and friendly. We had a crack-of-dawn start on the day of our departure, and the kitchen had kindly put together a very generous packed breakfast for us to take on the go, and offered us hot coffee before we left. This was such a special touch and we were incredibly grateful. The bistro restaurant offers fantastic dishes for breakfast and dinner, with an exhaustive wine list offering the best local wines. Do reserve a table on the outdoor terrace for beautiful subset views. The room was spacious and modern with a large comfortable bed and with plenty of wardrobe and storage space. My only complaint is that I wish I stayed longer! We will certainly visit again.
